Suffolk Retreat Gets An Overhaul

This Grade II listed farm house surrounded by beautiful Suffolk woodlands, accompanied with 3 beautifully converted farm buildings and a bungalow. This property is idyllic and perfect for some well-deserved time away with friends and family. Alice and her family live in the farm house and she rents out the 4 property’s for holiday makers.

We were lucky enough to have worked on Sprott’s Farm with the previous owner who went on to recommend us to the new lovely owner, Alice. After a few call outs and boiler services we had already created a repour with Alice and she was sure she wanted us to complete the renovations in her 4 holiday lets. They were in need of a bit of love and attention and we couldn’t wait to get cracking!

Communication With Client Is Key

Luke and Charlotte worked closely with Alice to ensure all of her requirements were met for the job, there was a budget but also a clear vision of how the lets were going to look at the end of this. With budget in mind we used our suppliers to our best ability to ensure all of the products installed were quality products at a reasonable price. For the bathrooms we wanted to keep it simple but classic. The basins we used were counter top, which are really on trend at the moment, paired with a tall deck mounted basis mixer for simplicity. These are super easy to use so we thought that would be perfect for guests. All of the bathrooms had built in back to wall toilets to utilise the space as much as possible, we used tongue and groove boarding suitable for bathrooms to board the fronts.

There was a lot of work involved including a full renovation on all the bathrooms, revamping kitchens and giving the place a fresh coat of paint. All of these components bought to life the finished look, a crisp clean country feel. Alice wanted a home from home feel which was created with the finishing touches, handmade soft furnishings and funky spider lighting.
